Elderly
This service-oriented initiative is designed to promote digital literacy and intergenerational collaboration through an engaging competition format. In this program, youths will serve as mentors and team up with elderly participants. Together, they will embark on a structured learning journey and take part in a digital skills contest, where participants demonstrate their newly acquired skills and knowledge.
This program will provide an interactive and enjoyable environment that the elderly can use to develop new digital skills, build meaningful connections with the younger generation, and confidently embrace the digital world.

Even after the program has ended, you can still get help anytime through the AI assistant and WhatsApp assistant.

This project, funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and named the "Smart Teens Actions Project," aims to support young leaders in serving communities with limited access to or proficiency in digital tools. Medmind Technology is now collaborating with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University's Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation (“J.C.DISI”) on this two-and-a-half-year program. Through a technology-focused mentorship model, the partnership seeks to advance digital literacy and foster intergenerational collaboration.

You will receive a stipend for participating in each mentor-mentee workshop.

Teach the elderly how to use smartphones and digital tools to improve their communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

Scope of service

After completing our training session, you will serve as a mentor in our smartphone classes.
After the first session, there will be a WhatsApp support group.
