What is the Senior Citizens and
Rehabilitation Innovation Application Fund?
The Innovation and Technology Application Fund for Elderly Care and Rehabilitation (hereinafter referred to as the "Elderly Fund") is established by the Hong Kong Social Welfare Department to subsidize eligible elderly care and rehabilitation service providers to purchase, rent, or trial innovative technology products to improve the quality of life for the elderly and disabled service users, while reducing the workload of caregivers and nursing staff.
The application period for the thirteenth phase of the fund is from April 13, 2026 to 5 pm on July 13, 2026. PhysioPlay rehabilitation products are included in the fund's coverage, and nursing homes, rehabilitation institutions, and senior day centers can apply to purchase them.
