13th Senior Citizens' Fund
Before You Apply
Start by auditing your service gaps — such as insufficient cognitive training resources, limited rehabilitation equipment, or lack of data recording systems.
Then match those gaps to the fund's eligible technology categories to identify the most suitable products.
Application process

Check eligibility
Confirm your organisation meets SWD requirements and serves elderly or persons with disabilities

Select products
Choose technology products within the fund's approved categories, specifically designed for elderly or disability services

Prepare documents
Complete the application form and gather quotations and product leaflets

Submit application
Send all documents to the Gerontech Fund Secretariat at SWD
5
Procure & install
Upon approval, purchase the products and arrange installation and staff training
Approval time
It typically takes about 3 to 6 months, depending on the complexity of the application and the Social Welfare Department's approval process. Organizations are advised to submit their applications as early as possible to allow sufficient time for document supplementation and follow-up.
